INTRODUCTION

Like many of you perhaps, I've always had a love affair with baseball. It's a pure, timeless, and serene game. It is one of the few games not ruled by a clock. In theory, a game can last forever. These pages attempt to capture the "spirit" of baseball I have come to treasure so much.

By the conclusion of the 2009 baseball season, I will have traveled more than 13,000 miles up and down - and back and forth across this great country to witness games played at the both the major and minor league levels. I feel blessed and fortunate to be able to pursue this dream come true.

In 2009, visits will be made to the New Yankee Stadium and Citi Field home openers. Then, in July I'll visit Great American Ballpark (Cincinnati), Kauffman Stadium (Kansas City), Busch Stadium (St. Louis). Rangers Ballpark (Dallas), Minute Maid Park (Houston), Turner Field (Atlanta), Camden Yards (Baltimore), plus minor league games in Chattanoogo TN, Charlotte, and Durham NC. Updates are now included on the main page (below).

With each new ballpark, I attempt to assume the role of a journalist. I try to use my camera as the "eye of a baseball fan". A special effort is made to capture the culture of each ballpark. Though alike in some ways, each is unique with its own traits and characteristics.

In the same vein, I include a photo essay titled Baseball Rituals. These pages will seem alike to you - and if they do - I've accomplished my goal. Different cities - same rituals. It's Baseball!

Also included are photo essays on Game Action and Ballpark Views - Game Box Scores, and Game Commentary from local newspapers.

Any original photo can be saved - they are not copyrighted - just follow the instructions given on album pages.
