AT&T Field - A Fan's Review (7/24/09)

AT&T Field is the home of the Chattanooga Lookouts, the AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

In brief, I liked everything about this ballpark. The venue is situated on a hill overlooking the river in downtown Chattanoogs, Tennessee. Before you enter, take a quick walk and enjoy the waterfront views. The steps from street level are high and mighty so be sure to find the escalator that'll take you up (I didn't see it until I was inside the ballpark).

As most minor league ballparks do, AT&T Field offers an excellent family entertainment value. A family of four can easily purchase tickets and a good supply of food for under $75.00. Menu choices are varied and prices fall under what I've become accustomed to as "ballpark prices".

It's a one tiered venue with two levels of seating. I could not locate a seat with an obstructed view. There is no outfield seating.

I parked in a lot near the waterfront. I think it cost about $6.00. From there, it's an easy walk to the main entrance. Be sure you have a good map or GPS to get you there as you'll travel through downtown streets at the end of your trip.

Ushers and staff are all friendly and courteous. And be sure to look for the woman who sells the programs.....she's worth the price of admission all by herself.
