US Cellular Field Chicago IL

A Fan's Review

Cellular Field is the home of the American League Central Chicago White Sox.

US Cellular Field is located conveniently off the Interstate and adjacent to the site of old Comiskey Park.

For me, its best feature is the ability to walk completely around the ballpark offering an opportunity to view the game from several perspectives. The entire outfield is open and contains staues of memorable White Sox players.

I could not find a seat with an obstructed view, though you should always ask when purchasing tickets. Concession stands ring all concourse levels - expect "ballpark prices" everywhere.

On the downside, the ballpark is in the middle of nowhere and a neighborhood feel is lacking. To wit, there are no bars and restaurants nearby - so when you get there - there's nothing to do except wait for the gates to open.

Rest rooms are clean and plentiful. Ushers are courteous and helpful. On this warm - sunny - and clear day - there was not a better place to be.
