A Fan's Review
Comerica Park is the home of the American League Central Detroit Tigers.
The Tigers have a rich baseball tradition and culture. Comerica Park takes advantage of that - throughout the ballpark you can find sculptures statues and monuments that commemorate players and
personalities from past years. Perhaps the best feature of the ballpark is the ability to walk entirely around from inside. You can stand along the outfield concourse for a unique perspective of the game and watch for a while - and then move on
to find another view. Concession stands are numerous and offer the usual ballpark fare - as always - expect ballpark prices. Concourses are fairly wide and there is little congestion. On the down side - and it's a big one - is the fact that some seats face towards the outfield - instead of the infield where nearly all the action is. It's beyond me why the park would be designed this way. You can purchase parking in advance (recommended). While located in a downtown area, there are no restaurants and bars that would form a "neighborhood" like feel. Ushers are courteous and helpful - ask all the questions you want. Rest rooms are plentiful - and clean.
