It's in the "middle of nowhere" off Interstate 94. And normally, I go for ballparks that have a neighborhood feel. No matter (in this case). The Milwaukee baseball tradition and culture is captured eloquently both inside and outside the ballpark. Sculptures, plaques, and banners are everywhere - and each has its own little story behind it.

Milwaukee fans are rabid and they arrive early to tailgate in the parking lots. Pre-paid parking is available and recommended (Brewer's website). For a 6:05pm start, I drove into the parking lot at 2:30pm. Unheard of - in my experience.

Miller Park is pleasing to the eyes with natural blends of greens and browns. It's architecture is unique - and at first I didn't know what to make of it - but it all became part of the wonderful "blend".

Concession stands offer a wide menu variety - but if you're in Milwaukee - you've got to go Polish and try the Keilbasa. Expect the usual fare of "ballpark prices".

On the downside, there's only one way out (that I could find) - and the journey to the interstate took about thirty minutes.

As I always say, (I think) it's unfair to compare ballparks. All I can say is - Miller Park is right up there!
